Tibetan Meditation Bowl

This piece is a traditional Tibetan Bowl, also known as the Tibetan Singing Bell. The mantra “Om Mani Padme Hum” is carved in silver-white on its 18 cm diameter lacquered finish. It is one of the most well-known and sacred verses in Tibetan Buddhism and is dedicated to Avalokiteshvara, the bodhisattva of compassion. The wooden clapper is directed around the bell’s outer circumference, creating a resonance. This sound deepens meditation and calms the mind. It is used in spiritual healing, energy clearing, and religious ceremonies in Tibet, Nepal, and India.
